If you live near 34th and Wharton Street in West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, you might be amazed at the sight of a unique billboard present there.
To find his one true love, a 28-year-old man, Dave Cline has chosen to actually put himself out there on a billboard for prospective dates.

This billboard is one of the most unique ways of finding a suitable date and was set up at the whopping cost of $1,136 for a month.
The billboard features a smiling picture of Cline giving a thumbs-up sign and the advertisement reads, “Dave is Single! Want to go on a DATE with Dave?”
The advertisement also mentions some facts about Dave, like he can cook (well), has normal hobbies, and owns a cat with a pictured image of his cat.
When asked why he would do such a thing, Cline replied that he just thought it would be funny.
This amazing story, or rather advertisement, was shared by a local news outlet, Billy Penn from Philadelphia.
Cline who works in HR data management, is single and not many noticed the advertisement for around a week until someone shared and posted it on X/ Twitter.
That’s when it blew up and he received almost 60 DM’s the same day. Most of the messages he has received are genuinely sweet and kind, with well-wishes, and a date may be coming up soon. However, if love comes calling, Cline is more than happy to receive it.
His Instagram account further clarifies that he’s looking for someone at least 24 years old, he has REAL friends and will date you if you have dietary restrictions or do not drink.

He also mentions in a post, “It may shock you to know, but the guy who bought a billboard as a funny hehe haha really is actually 100% single! If you live in Philadelphia (or anywhere with central AC) feel free to send me a message! My only request is that if you want to reach out, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t send me spam, threats, or anything weird! I have literally no idea if this will be popular at all or totally forgettable in 2 days, so just have fun and feel free to ask me out ❤️.”
He’s glad he hasn’t received any negative or mean comments yet. In fact, users on his Instagram account have posted some nice things, with one even saying, “I’m getting a gut feeling we might be a good match.”
Another user posted, “Dave, leave some women for the rest of us.”
We hope Cline finds his perfect match with his billboard adventures!
