Long Island High School twins named valedictorian and salutatorian after sister graduated at top of her class

Devon Lee and Dylan Lee, twins and students of Long Island high school will graduate at the top of their class this spring.

Wonder boys and twins Devon and Dylan Lee, 17, students of Herricks High School in New Hyde Park, Long Island, share much more than their birth dates.

They also share their successes and both of them will graduate this spring as valedictorian and salutatorian.

If you think this was amazing, their sister Jeylin also graduated as valedictorian from the class of 2023. Genius runs in the family of the Lees’.

Devon told PEOPLE about his amazing achievement, “It’s all about balance; letters, grades, and numbers don’t mean anything if you aren’t having fun.”

The boys are not only brilliant in academics, but also love participating in extracurricular activities and are members of Herricks’ volleyball team.

Apart from volleyball, the brothers love to perform music and are very fond of running and take part in 10K’s, half-marathons, and full marathons.

Devon now looks forward to joining Cornell University, while Dylan is on his way to Yale University.

Dylan mentions that he “spent a lot of time hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, and playing music.” He did not only focus on academics but learned the value of knowing himself and his needs.

Meanwhile, officials at the Long Island high school praised Devon for his intense focus and hard work in completing some of the most difficult courses offered at Herricks High School.

Similarly, school officials appreciated Dylan for his focused and balanced approach to managing a challenging course load along with actively participating in various extracurricular activities.

The secret of their success? The twins claim their parents give a lot of importance to education and always ask them to do their best.

Even if they fail, the Lees’ parents expect them to have tried their best, to which Devon adds he takes on everything with an “open mind” and wishes to learn from everyone.
